SO, HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
The Grammar Challenge Program is designed to improve student grammar using pre-assessment, lecture-based grammar instruction, challenge story readings, escape-room style challenges, and post-assessment
to check student improvement. Scroll down to learn a bit more about each of the components.
Use the eye-catching presentation slides to teach the grammar concept. The slides are interactive and break the concept down clearly and concisely.
Share the provided examples for students to ensure they understand the concept deeply before diving into the challenge.
Have students read the creative back-story for the challenge. This will set up the challenge and also help students improve their reading comprehension as clues sometimes appear in the story.
Each of the stories place students in a scenario where they must escape, find a secret message or code, or solve a problem.
Students work in small groups to attempt the challenge! Students must use their knowledge of the grammar concept to be successful.
Print and digital versions are included for the challenges depending on which bundle you prefer.
Presentation slides are included to facilitate all elements of the challenge.
Once students are successful, they read the conclusion to the story!
After the challenge is complete, have students retake the pre-assessment to see if they have improved their understanding of the grammar topic.
Students can see real data to compare how their understanding has improved.

The print bundle was created for use within a traditional classroom setting without technology. The presentations are all in PowerPoint format, and the quizzes and challenge documents are meant to be printed and distributed to students. The digital bundle, on the other hand, is 100% paperless and is meant to be used in a remote teaching or 1:1 classroom setting. Students will complete the work using Google Apps (Slides and Forms).
If you purchased all of the digital and print challenges separately, the cost would be $399. By purchasing the discounted bundles, you receive a significant discount, and the mega-bundle with both included is at an even steeper discount!
After you purchase, you will receive an email with a link to download The Grammar Challenge. It's a large file, so it may take some time to download, but if you have any issues, you can reach out to me via email at bonnie@prestoplans.com with your receipt.
Your purchase of the program entitles you to a single-use license which means that you are not legally permitted to share it, and it can only be used within your own classroom.
If you are teaching remotely or in a 1:1 classroom, you are permitted to share the slides and challenges with your students on a closed, password protected site (like Google Classroom), so they can complete the challenge online.
You are not legally permitted to share any of the materials in The Grammar Challenge on an open website that can be accessed by the general public.
